Pastels and Mixed Media Watershed Studio

Carole will demonstrate how you can use soft pastels and pastel pencils over a base of watercolours or thinly applied acrylics. 

This mixed media method of using an underpainting layer of selected colours can add sparkle and depth to your masterpieces.

With some initial guidance from Carole, you can either attempt to copy one of her paintings of “Bluebell Woods”, “A Cumbrian Landscape, Autumn” or “Ballet Dancers” or you can paint a subject of your own choice.
