As the first signs of Spring now start to appear, Carole will show you how to capture some of the garden's glorious colours, shapes and form in watercolours or a medium of your choice.

Capture animals' character, expression, shape and form using pastels and pastel pencils. Carole will show you a variety of techniques to paint texture, pattern and take you through tips and tricks for painting birds.

Carole will demonstrate how to achieve the effect of waves on a beach or the flow of a river or waterfall, both in acrylics and watercolours

It will include sketching buildings, boats and beach scenes as well as quick people studies and a “how to” on perspective – all the skills required to improve your observation and drawing technique and the perfect way to fill your sketchbook. We will mostly be working outdoors, weather permitting.
