Charlie Bean by Carole Massey

Commissioning a painting

Whether it's a portrait of a loved one (human or animal), a painting of your house, a commemorative work of a deceased person or family pet, a painting provides an ideal gift and a unique and lasting memento.

Commissioning a painting is not as complicated as you might imagine. For portraits, Carole can work on a series of sittings or from several photographs. Ideally she likes to meet her "subject" but in certain circumstances this is not always possible so good quality photographs are a viable alternative.

Please contact Carole to discuss your requirements without obligation. You may prefer a simple black and white sketch, a watercolour or pastel or a large scale canvas - there are many possibilities. A mutualy agreed timescale and price will be set on commissioning.

Painting on the right:
Sir Charles Bean – Deputy Governor of the Bank of England
This painting now hangs in the “Parlours Hall” at the Bank of England. Carole was invited to its unveiling, followed by a special reception at the Bank to mark Charlie’s retirement from the Bank of England in June 2014.
